The historic ensemble is not only a valuable cultural asset with a history dating back to the 15th century. A breath of fresh air has been blowing through the old manor house since 2015. Lovingly restored and charmingly decorated, magnificent rooms and a unique view over Lake Tegernsee await guests from near and far.

In addition to the manor house restaurant with restaurant and beer garden and the event areas in the converted cattle shed, the four-sided farm also includes meadows and woodland. Gut Kaltenbrunn intends to gradually fill this land with life in the spirit of a traditional estate and thus contribute to its own needs.

While the Königsbau, the manor house, the old cattle shed with its barn and the open spaces offer plenty of room for events of all kinds, guests can enjoy authentic regional and seasonal Alpine cuisine with an original Bavarian flavour in the manor house restaurant with guest garden.

In addition to traditional dishes such as farm duck, Kaltenbrunn char and Wiener schnitzel, refined with produce from the local estate garden, refined dishes are served here that emphasise the clarity and quality of the product. 

For a sweet finish, the Kaiserschmarrn is of course a must! However, the in-house patisserie doesn't just produce this classic. From tarts and pastries to strudel - every dessert fan will be happy here!

In the neighbouring self-service beer garden with its panoramic view, you can also experience Bavarian lifestyle away from the mainstream. The beer garden is the hotel's first calling card. It reflects the entire philosophy of Gut Kaltenbrunn:
