Müllner-Peter Museum Sachrang
Peter Hueber - known as Müllner Peter - lived from 1766 to 1843 and was a musician, miller and farmer, healer and religious man. More than 20,000 visitors were attracted to the anniversary exhibition on the 150th anniversary of the death of Müllner Peter von Sachrang on the first floor of the Sachrang school in 1993. His person and his personal situation are embedded in the economic, social and political conditions in Sachrang and in the Hohenaschau dominion at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. A room on the first floor has also been acquired for the complete furnishings of teacher Max Hickl's kitchen from the school in Stein (municipality of Sachrang), which have been donated on permanent loan. Changing special exhibitions, musical events and readings are organised during the museum's day-to-day operations in order to inspire and attract visitors time and time again.
